Licensing

When you purchase a Positype font, you're buying a license to use it under specific conditions. Different uses call for different licenses. This page will help you find the right one.

All Positype licenses are non-exclusive and grant usage rights, not ownership of the font software. If your situation doesn't fit neatly into a category below, contact us — we would rather answer a question than resolve a violation.

What are you making?

Common questions

Not sure where you fit?

We've handled licensing for NFL broadcasts, VR headset interfaces, Victorian-era revival publications, and everything in between. If your use case is unusual, we've probably seen something like it. Contact us and we'll help you find the right license before you purchase.
