Designed for the New York Jets in 2024, Jets Pilot is a custom display typeface drawn from the team's iconic wordmark. The typeface refines the recognizable wider letterforms of the wordmark into a complete display family, extending its visual character across the breadth of the Jets' brand applications. A companion family, Co-Pilot, was developed alongside Pilot with a narrower footprint specifically engineered for tighter text settings and social media contexts where the wider Pilot would not fit. Together, the two families give the Jets a flexible display system that carries the brand's signature typographic identity across every screen size and layout constraint.
