Designed for Girl Scouts of the USA between 2016 and 2017, the Trefoil Suite is a comprehensive custom type system that included Trefoil Sans, Trefoil Slab, Trefoil DIY, and Thin Mint. Drawn to support the institution's full range of communications, the suite was deployed across every level of the organization, from official publications and signage to the badges girls earn and the cookie packaging recognized in homes across the country. The suite gave Girl Scouts a unified typographic voice that scaled from corporate brand to scout-level use, with Trefoil DIY providing a 10-font layered family for the in-house creative team to combine into custom typographic treatments.
